Diese Librarians stellen die Studierenden in den Mittelpunkt ihrer Arbeit und versuchen, Angebote der Bibliothek daraufhin auszurichten, dass diese erfolgreich ihr Studium bew\u00e4ltigen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es gibt eine ganze Anzahl von Studien, Artikeln und Monographien zu dieser Unterprofession des US-amerikanischen Bibliothekswesens. In dieser Folge werden einige davon \u00fcberblickshaf vorgestellt. Es zeigt sich dabei, dass es sehr verschiedene Vorstellung davon gibt, was \u00absuccess\u00bb im Studium heisst. W\u00e4hrend es in den Hochschulstrategien oder auch in Texten, die zeigen wollen, wie wichtig Bibliotheken f\u00fcr diese Erfolge sind, oft anhand von \u00abharten Daten\u00bb wie Noten, Studienzeiten oder Abbruchraten gemessen werden, tendieren die Student Success Librarians selber offenbar dazu, das Wellbeing von Studierenden in den Mittelpunkt zu stellen und zu versuchen, \u00absichere R\u00e4ume\u00bb zur Verf\u00fcgung zu stellen, damit Studierende aus verschiedenen Gruppen das Studium erfolgreich durchlaufen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interessant f\u00fcr die Bibliothekswissenschaft ist, dass sich hier aktuell eine neue Unterprofession entwickelt, inklusive einer eigenen kritischen Diskussionskultur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Besprochen werden:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cumbo, Piper ; Higgins, Abigail (2025). <em>Creating a Culture of Care: A Case Study of Finals Week Activities and Student Wellbeing Asscessment<\/em>.
